BiographyPDK “From humble beginnings”
PDK is made up of Patrick Mwashindange, Dion Auala and Kristian Andreas. they first started off as dancers and were known as the Action Boys to Action Geez. While in high school they would perform at beauty pageants and talent shows and became popular for their vibrant dancing moves. The trios who have been making music for 8 years, hails from the northern Namibian town Oshakati. Patrick is the singing sensation in the group, Dion has a unique style that cannot be compared to anyone and Kamtonyo is a combination of the two. The trio have a very strong stage presence with performances that are vibrant, explosive and unifies the audience. The group takes inspiration for their music from reality. “We sing more about reality then superstitions, more of dreams and goals that we are trying to achieve, we sing more of what is happening and love.”

PDK are loved for their unique sounds, their style fusses a mix of afropop and dancehall. The trio has been active in the Namibian entertainment scene and have collaborated with some of the country’s biggest names in music these include kwaito star and Channel O award winner The Dog, kwaito star Ees and one of Namibia’s highest selling artist Tatebuti, as well as a hand full of local Namibian artist. They have also worked with Zambian artist Shyman.PDK has released a total of eight albums skoko, Paantu, Emanya, Kombingaaku, Odjuulufi, Moko, Fiyotakushi and Kulupa Nayo.
